Father

This is my father. He is funny, kind and a major influence on my life and how I live. His favourite past time is to ride his bike through the city streets as it provides him with a sense of excitement and high energy. I chose to represent him with this photo as it he is denoted next to his bike in his biker gear which connotes that it is important to him. I also chose this photo because of his stern yet comical facial expression which accurately connotes his personality. The use of limited colour featured in the photo is also used to further connote the link between my father and his bike.

Sister

This is my sister. My sister may be fairly timid but she is very caring, considerate and has an elegant personality. She likes to spend her days drawing, painting and creating wonderful pieces of art and is always working hard to improve her craft. I chose this photo to represent her as I think it connotes her character and attributes the best. The denoted movement connotes her elegance and her hard working attitude. The lighting connotes a warm atmosphere which also connotes her caring attitude and finally  the art featured denotes her incredible skill at her craft.

Brother

This is my brother. He is an excitable and energetic child, but when he focuses on what he loves best he is filled with curiosity and intrigue. My brother loves to build things out of anything he can find in the house and can be found on the floor of his room surrounded with bits and bobs he is using to create his next invention. I chose this photo to represent my brother as it denotes him reaching into a bag as if to take something out of it, making the audience feel like they are the object he is tinkering with. I chose this angle so that my brothers face was easily visible as I wanted to denote his concentrating facial expressions.

Mother

This is my mother. My mother is a very hard worker in the family. She cooks for us all, she cleans up after our mess and even works as a nurse to help out others who are in need. My mother accomplishes all these things with a smile on her face as she strives to keep us all in check. I chose this photo to represent her as the props and uniform denoted in the image connotes some of the various jobs that she undertakes in family life and her happy facial expression connotes her cheerful personality.

Me

This is a representation of me. I usually spend a majority of my free time in my room playing video games with my friends or practicing my banjo. This photo contains items that reflect my interests or mean something personal to me. The bear in the photo is something I have had for years and I used to take it everywhere I go. The cardboard hat is an item I made last minute before a fancy dress party and is still used for various occasions today. The pumpkin represents the nickname given to me by my father which is "Lant" derived from Jack O'Lantern and also represents my affinity with spooky related themes.
